EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of October 25<\/a>, 2017 amending <a href=\"http:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=celex:32002R1030\">Regulation (EC) No 1030\/2002 of the Council<\/a>, laying down a uniform format for residence permits for third-country nationals.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this regulation is to establish a new uniform format for residence permit for third-country nationals, since the one established in Regulation (EC) No. 1030\/2002 has been subject to different incidents of counterfeiting and fraud.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Regulation (EU) 2017\/1954 will enter into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, and it will necessarily be applied by the Member States no more than fifteen months after
